The Dominican Friars
The Church of Saints John and Paul Martyrs has belonged uninterruptedly to the Preaching Friars (Dominicans) since the 13th century. Today, the Dominican Community in Venice is made up of a small group of friars, who are pleased to welcome you and guide you in your discovery of the Basilica, with the knowledge and know-how of those who care for it every day. In addition, for anyone who wishes, the Dominican Friars are available for personal meetings to listen and dialogue and for the sacrament of confession.
To request a meeting with one of the friars, please contact the Basilica a few days in advance by writing to info@santigiovanniepaolo.it or call the phone number in the Contact (link alla pagina) section.
